when i was in school, i heard the teacher said, indonesia is so fertile, if you throw a stick on the ground it will grow. of course, figuratively speaking. yea rite, i thought then. it is true thou, indonesia is so blessed with really fertile soil, due to the many active volcanoes. plus the rain. even the europeans back in 15th century risked their life to reach Spice islands, Maluku. yet lately all the news i heard about indonesia are mostly bad ones, environmental issues due to combination of natural disaster n human negligence. why… flood, mud flood, forest fire, are mostly human negligence issue.

why can’t we take good care of the environment? why r indo ppl seem to care more about celebrity news or religious matters than about what happened to the environment due to their own faults and how to remedy the situation? flood, for instance. dude, when r we gonna start really clean and fix the river in jakarta, smelly ever since i can remember n full of junks. carelessness and ignorance dont help. deforestation, why? why why why.

i have no answer. maybe somebody does. n start do something about this.
